1.6 GALILEO
The u-blox 5 is a GNSS chip that receives and tracks GPS and GALILEO signals simultaneously, enhancing
accuracy and coverage. When GALILEO-L1 signals become available, u-blox 5 receivers equipped with FLASH
memorywillbecapableofreceivingandprocessingthemviaasimpleupgrade.Theabilitytoreceiveandtrack
GALILEOsatellitesignalswillresul
tinhighercoverage,improvedreliabilityandbetteraccuracy.
